I am so excited to share with you that I’ve received the California Democratic Party’s endorsement for my campaign for the 79th Assembly District.
The vote was an overwhelming in support — 39-1!
The strength of our campaign continues to grow every day. In addition to the Democratic Party’s endorsement, we recently received the endorsement of UDW/AFSCME 3930 as well as La Mesa City Councilmember Colin Parent (who was considering running for this seat and has instead announced his intention to support me)!
With the election on April 6th, ballots will be in the hands of voters in just 4 weeks.
Special elections are very expensive. We have to turn voters out with no other election activity going on simultaneously so voters are not prepared to vote. This type of voter contact takes A LOT of resources. We are running a grassroots effort and every $1 makes a huge difference. Can you contribute any amount HERE?
